So the album starts of with the intro song "Into Me". It's kind of ballad with some spoken parts. The songs is completely in English, and it is for the most part alright, but there's one sentence that's a little weird. "Let me make sure just one thing, are you ready for the off with me, huh?" It is a pretty good Intro song.
Next up comes the title track "Deja Vu". I really like this song. The beat works well with the other elements in the song. I'm going to have the sentence "It's like Deja Vu" stuck in my head for the next days. If you look at the lyrics you really get the feels of a tough girl group. The MV was good, I'd hoped for a little more power in the dance. The dance break in the song does take a little care of that.
Next up we have "Love Call". This is my favorite song of the album. I really like the hint of the smooth synths. It gives you more of a modern feel. My favorite part of song is the chorus especially the end of the chorus. "Every day"
After that comes "People's Little Sister". This has more of a common pop song style. It's a good and catchy song. The hook "ooh whoa ooh whoa" really sticks to your brain.
The fifth song "Just Go" is more funky. It has that "Be Happy" feel. With sentences like "My life is gonna be beautiful" and "Spread your wings and fly, go up to the sky" you really understand what the songs is about.
Then we have the last song "Everlasting Love". This is a beautiful ballad song with a beat. The rap's are absolutely amazing and it has really poetic lyrics. At the end it sounds like all the members sings together and it really adds to the song.
All in all I really like this album. It has a tough girl group vibe with ballads and funky songs. I'm really excited to see what this group comes up with next.
See you in the next post, Aiika
